Name some of the main themes of the book.
The main story is about a young boy, who is trying to find the murder of a dog, called Wellington. Besides of that, he talkes a lot about his thoughts ans his background. One story is about, how his mother died because of a heart attacke. And why his father doesn't want to talk about it.
But the all the other stories and more about, what he thinks about different stuff.
For example on page 105, he explanes why he hates the coulours yellow and brown.
The most interesting side story, in my opinion is on chapter 47. For Christopher, there are two main types of a day. One is a good day, and the other a bad one. If they passed 4 red cars in a row with the schoolbus in the morning, it meant that it was Good Day. 3 red cars in a row made it a Quite Good Day and so on. A Black Day for Christopher is, when they pass 4 yellow cars in a row. If you want to know what he does in these situations you can look it up on page 31. Words ~ 195
